DataSplitter is a 100% free, local-first utility by Syntax Labs. Your data privacy is our absolute priority. This policy explains how the tool handles information — and confirms that your spreadsheet data never leaves your device.

2. Data Processing (Core Promise)

DataSplitter processes all uploaded CSV files entirely within your browser sandbox using the HTML5 Streams API (via PapaParse). When you use the tool:

• Files are read locally from your device into browser memory.
• Splitting, chunking, and ZIP packaging run on your machine only.
• Output is saved directly to your downloads folder.

Your data files are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. It is 100% local. Syntax Labs cannot access your CSV contents, column data, or split results.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics) to monitor page views and tool performance. These services help us understand aggregate traffic — not individual users or file contents.

• No personal identification is collected through the splitting workflow.
• No spreadsheet data, row values, or uploaded filenames are sent to analytics providers.
• You may disable cookies in your browser without affecting core functionality.
